Lucy

Lucy (female) — ages unknown but we’re guessing young adults

Their story didn’t start off great, someone loved them at some point, but then it all changed when they were abandoned. But today Lucy and Desi are loving life, they are getting comfortable with a routine. Currently they are sharing a large kennel, which they are comfortable with, it gives them a space to relax and decompress, while still watching everything.

They both love other dogs, Lucy likes to chase in the yard, Desi is more about being with his person. These two could go together, but we also think that they could be separated.

Lucy is a bit more reserved at first, but once she realizes that you will give pets she is all in. She loves to go on walks, her personality comes out-proud and head held high. I think she would be a great dog for someone who wants companionship and also wants to remain active.

Desi is the life of the party, he is happiest with you. He also loves to go on walks, he looks like a little teddy bear coming down the sidewalk. It does look like he has an old injury to his rear leg but it does not seem to slow him down. His worst habit is marking, but his neuter should help with that, he also doesn’t mind wearing belly bands in the house.

Both dogs need to have a secure, fenced yard, or be leashed when outside, they are runners at this point, but who can blame them. I think once they have bonded with their person it will not be an issue.
