How We Got Started
Inspired by the unwavering love and resilience of her first rescue dog, Rilo, founder Ashley Stroebel-Haft named her non-profit dog rescue Rilo’s Rescue, dedicating it to providing a safe refuge for countless dogs in need and giving deserving dogs a second chance at happy and fulfilling lives.
Success Stories
From rescuing sizeable litters from hoarding situations to saving a single dog within hours of euthanasia, Rilo’s Rescue is the link between many local and regional animal shelters and organizations whose staffs are often overburdened, lack transportation, resources, and knowledge of a network of potential fosters and adopters throughout Central Idaho. Rilo’s Rescue has successfully placed hundreds of dogs into their forever homes for three years.
