Korra was rescued from a home in southern Idaho where she lived in a backyard.

Korra is an adorable mini Aussie with all the love in the world to give. We think she is about 3 years old and weighs 25 lbs. She is the perfect size for her favorite activity, which is curling up by your side and getting lots of pets. Korra is great on leash, has exceptional recall, and loves deeply.

Korra came from a background where she had very little human interaction, so we recommend slow introductions to new people. She has bonded with us quickly, and I would expect her to do the same with you. We are working on her comfort level with new people and the kennel, and she is getting better every day. Korra is very smart and trainable, so I feel confident she’ll be a pro in no time.

Since she is a mini Aussie, we would recommend someone who understands herding dogs. For as sweet as she can be, she has a work drive that should be managed by routine and exercise. Additionally, we do not recommend her for a home with kids, as she can be easily startled and has displayed some nipping behavior like herding dogs so. Korra gets along great with our 1 year old high energy puppy, and would do well in a home where she is the only pet or there are other companions.
