Meet Bunny!🐇
Bunny is a mystery mix (we suspect some pitbull and possibly a cattle dog breed!) with quite the backstory. She and her sister were found as strays in the California desert after being attacked by a porcupine. Extensive vet visits as a baby to remove quills and heal her broken ribs left her a little nervous around new people, but she has never once been mean, she just wants to find her safe space. Once she does, her sweet personality comes right out.
Bunny loves playing with other dogs, and when they’re not around she just wants to cuddle and be a lap dog. Which is what makes us think she’s pit mix! Bunny still has some stray in her and loves to be in the backyard, day and night. If she’s playing, guarding the perimeter, or just basking in the sun this girl absolutely loves to be outside. She has also been camping with her foster parents and loved it!
She’s working on potty training, loves her crate, and sleeps through the night whether she’s in your bed, under your bed or in her crate. One of our favorite things about Bunny is the heart shape on her nose.
She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can take her time to trust. This little puppy has so much love to give.
