Meet Barley🌾

My foster parents call me the cutest boy in the World, but there is so much more to me! I have been living with 2 other dogs and we have become very good friends! They are teaching me all kinds of things! First, I learned that you don’t eat from someone else’s food bowl while they are eating. I think it’s called boundaries, but it felt more like grumpiness. Either way, I’ll be avoiding that from now on! Next, they taught me to use this cool doggie door so l could go potty outside. I get in real trouble if I go potty inside, so l learned right away not to do that! My foster parents have a kitty and we have also become friends! I found out if I don’t chase him, he’s really nice to me! I would be fine living with kitties in the future! Oh, and I also got to meet a bunch of little people called kids! They give me lots of snuggles and kisses, and they even scratch my belly if I ask nicely. My favorite thing in the world is to play with my chew toys and then take a long nap in my crate.

While I have energy sometimes, I do prefer to relax and chill with my friends. My foster parents say I’m “wicked smart”, whatever that means. I guess I am doing good learning tricks. I sure hope I can find someone to love and be my Forever Family! I promise to learn all the tricks, give you all the snuggles and we can be best friends!
