Kip

Estimated Age: 14 weeks (DOB ~ 12/10/25)
Breed: Mixed Breed
Kip came into foster at around seven weeks old, and he has proven to be a fun, loving, smart, and spunky boy. Kip had a trial run with an adoptive home, but his puppy energy and enthusiasm was overwhelming for the resident cat. Kip was warmly welcomed back at his original foster home and continues to be a joy.
Like most puppies, Kip has a lot of energy, and he enjoys spending that energy exploring the house, practicing his social skills with the other two dogs at his foster home, and playing with his foster human. He needs a reminder sometimes, but is overall very respectful of the boundaries that other dogs set with him, and he plays hard with a dog that will play with him, but also has done well mostly ignoring the dog that doesn’t want to play. Kip is very curious about the world outside of the house and will be getting started with leash training outside the house now that he is fully vaccinated.
Kip has been practicing lots of different things to set him up for success as he grows! Potty training is still a work in progress, but he is making great strides. He will be well-prepared for any nighttime routine, because he already sleeps through the night in his kennel, and is happy to start the morning with snuggles and kisses. (And he will generally sleep quietly until his human decides it’s time to get up!) He is easily redirected with a toy if he is exploring things that he shouldn’t be. Kip seems to be picking up well on words and routines, and it will be a delight to see how he continues to progress with basic puppy training. (He is very food-motivated, which will also help!)
Overall, Kip is a good boy who deserves sunshine and all the love and cuddles. He would love to come home with you and stay forever!
